お世話になっている、Otonamiの新しい店舗スペースができ、
無事にオープンされた。
場所は、大丸東京店の10階です。

そこに、わたしの日本画作品を置かせて頂けることになり、
有難く参加させて頂いた。

エボシドリという珍しい鳥と、桜を金箔地に描いたものと、
オーガスタという白い花とモンシロチョウを、やはり金箔地に描いたものを
2点お納めしました。

人間国宝の高名な諸先生方と一緒のスペースに並べて頂き、
まことに光栄で恐縮です。ぜひ、ご覧いただきたいです。
お近くにお立ち寄りの際は、どうぞよろしくおねがいいたします。

そのOtonamiラウンジでは、様々な体験クラスが開催され、
日本の伝統文化のメッカとなる模様です。

「知るだけではない。自ら触れてみて初めて理解し、そこから新しく伝承していかれる。」
まさに体現しておられます。

今年も、元旦に水墨画パフォーマンスをさせて頂きました。
大きな和紙に、干支の蛇などを巳年にちなんだお話を交え、
描かせていただきました。

パフォーマンスの後は拍手なども頂き、大変ありがとうございました。

1年ぶりの訪問となってしまいましたが、
また再会して覚えていて下さる皆さまに優しい言葉をかけて頂きました。
本当にありがとうございます。

令和6年元旦は、プレザンリュクス南青山様にて、
元旦のイベントとして「水墨画パフォーマンス」をさせて頂きました。

大きな和紙一面に、富士山と昇り龍を、
お話や背景、解説などを交えながら、
水墨画の実技パフォーマンスを披露させて頂きました。

新春らしいイベントに皆さまにも喜んでいただけました。
貴重なお話をいただき、大変ありがとうございました。

展覧会前のひととき／Before the Exhibition
鳩居堂での展覧会も、あと一週間。

目前に控え、わくわくするような、清々しいような
雰囲気を味わっております。

私は、自身も含め、全員分の表具、表装をおわり、
あと数点、自分の絵の仕上げをしたいと思っています。
想像していたよりも、時間的にも精神的にも余裕があり、
なにか見落としていないか、かえってこわいです。

この展覧会は、もう3年越しの計画になりました。
2019年の11月に鳩居堂ギャラリーに申し込みをして、
2020年の8月、東京オリンピックの間に
私達も開催するつもりでした。

2020年は東京オリンピックも延期になり、
翌年、2021年もまだまだコロナが蔓延していて、
オリンピックは無観客、この展覧会も延期となりました。

しかし、この間に、生徒さん達が成長されました。

生徒さん達が、とても落ち着いていて、
お互いに信頼関係があり、
協力的でいてくださるので、頼もしいです。


今回のDMに寄せた文章は、こちらです。

「酒井抱一家に由来する琳派の墨絵は、こまやかな日本の心を伝えるとても貴重で文化的な遺産です。

Our exhibition at Kyukyodo gallery will be another week.
It's just right in front of us.
Sometime it's exciting, and the other time it refresh our feeling.
We are enjoying these atmospheres.

I finished the framing everyone's works, including mine as well.
I would like to finish a few of my paintings before the show, but framing has no probrem.
I have more time than I had imagined before.
I'm scared if I have been forgeting something I need to do.

This exhibition was planned for three years now.
I applied for the Kyukyodo Gallery in November 2019 and
during the Tokyo Olympics in August 2020
we were going to hold it.

The Tokyo Olympics was postponed in 2020,
the following year, 2021, the corona was still widespread,
the Olympics were unattended and also this exhibition was postponed.

However, during this time, the students grew up.

The students now are very calm and
tied in a good relationship of mutual trust,
they are supportive to each other.


Here is the text I wrote for our DM.

Sumie ink painting in the Rimpa style, passed down from the Hoitsu Sakai family, is
a valuable cultural heritage which tells us Japan’s sense of beauty and tenderness.
Toward our this show at Kyukyo-do Ginza, we have practiced Nihon-ga and
Sumie encouraged each other under corona. It’s our great pleasure that
we can jointly hold our exhibition this year too. We hope you will be able to come and
enjoy our ink painting studies. We would greatly appreciate your guidance and

大吉寺でのお稽古再開!!/Restart classes at temple 

2月に休講して以来、
やっと大吉寺でのお稽古が再開できました！

ひさしぶりに訪れた境内は、
すっかり濃いみどり色に包まれていて、

圧倒的におおきな
時の流れを感じました。

また、今日も　大好きなお寺の
清冽の気を吸い込んで、　感じて

ありがたくお寺の一室を使わせていただき、
水墨画に向き合うことができました。



Since the class was closed in February,
finally, the lessons at Daikichiji Temple have resumed!

The temple, I visited in a long time,
completely covered with Summer's dark green leaves!

Overwhelmingly large force of the passage of time, I felt.

Also, it's my favorite that
inhale and feel the spirit of clreaness in the temple.

Thank you for letting us use a room inside.
I and my students were able to concentrate in ink painting art.

日本画体験レッスン ご案内／Info/Nihon-ga trial lesson

日本画の体験レッスン
行いました。
Japanese painting trial lesson





(体験レッスンの受講生作品。
桃山時代の感じがするのが好ましいし、
新鮮な気がした。）


日本画は、
西洋の水彩画とも、油彩画とも、全く違うものです。
Japanese painting is　completely different from
estern watercolor paintings and oil paintings.


これから本格的にされる必要はなくても、
一度お試しに来られてはいかがでしょうか。
2時間～2時間半で6,000円です。
何も持って来られる必要はありません。
持ち物はありません。
即日に作品が完成して、ご自宅に持ち帰って頂けます。
Even if you don't have to continue learning this from now on,
Why don't you come and try it once?
It costs 6,000 yen for two to two and a half hours.
You don't have to bring anything.
The work will be completed on the same day and
you can take it back to your home.


この日本画体験講座を受講されると、
今後、日本画をみるときに、
今までとはまったく違ったものの見方、そして
考え方ができるようになります。
多くのことを発見するようになり、
作者の心情により近づくことができます。
If you take this trial Japanese painting course,
when I saw Japanese paintings in the future,
you will be able to have a completely different perspectives,
you come to discover many things from another Nihon-ga paintings,
and be get closer to the painter's feelings.


もともと絵を描くことにご興味のない方でも、
体験は有意義なものになることと思います。

継続されなくても良いのです。
自ら筆をとって、体験される事がいかに大事なのか、
真剣にお伝えしたいです。
It doesn't have to be continued.
How important it is to take a brush and experience it by yourself.
I like  to tell you this seriously.

水墨画体験のすすめ／

水墨画を
やっていると、
これは人生の縮図かな。と
思うことがよくあります。


この変化に富んだ時代に、
水墨画を通して、
考え方の柔軟性をまなぶ事もできると、私は思います。


また、本当の答えを自分の心の内に問いかける、
自分自身と対話する力を養う、といった事も、
水墨画を通して可能です。


特別な絵の才能がなくても、
こころで描くこともできます。

まさに大人から子供まで、
絵の上手な方から苦手意識のある方まで、
だれもが開花することができる、

すばらしい芸術です。
