日本画で下地にさくらの山々を描きました。
日々、たくさんの方々の頑張りや誠実さに、いつのまにか支えられ守られていると思います。普段、クローズアップされないままでいますが、社会の中に亘っている美徳をたたえ、また改めて感謝する気持ちで制作しました。
描いた桜の花の一つ一つが、人々の絶え間ない努力です。山になり、その山々は重なっています。
禅でいう「一瞬を生きる」という事の象徴として表現している金箔を、継ぎ箔の技法を用いて使用しました。金箔を割ったすき間から様々な諧調のさくら色がのぞいています。

I painted cherry blossom mountains on the base using Japanese painting.
Every day, I feel supported and protected by the hbig efforts and sincerity of so many people. I created this work with a feeling of praising and renewing my gratitude for the virtues in society that are rarely brought to everyone of us.
Each cherry blossom flower depicted represents the continuous efforts of people to maintain order in this society. It becomes a mountain, and the mountains overlap.
I used gold leaf, which is a symbol of ``living in the moment'' in Zen, using the technique of tsugihaku. Various tones of cherry blossom color are peeking out from the gaps in the gold leaf.
