できあがる金箔の形状は、いつか見た雲の、流れゆく様を参考にして制作しています。
見飽きることのないドラマチックな展開を、雲の変化にみて楽しんでいます。

この背景の金箔のようすは、尾形光琳作「杜若子花図屏風」に使用されていた用い方です。笑いと涙、出会いと別れの両方で成り立つことを肯定的に捉え、まばゆい金色で賛美したいという、最近の私の作風になりました。

Something changed it form and has started. ”
I spend a lot time of my days looking at the clouds floating in the sky.
The shape of the gold leaf that is created is based on the clouds I once saw moving by.
I enjoy watching the changes in the clouds, a dramatic scene that I never get tired of watching.

The gold leaf used in the background is the method used in a great Rimpa artist Korin Ogata's masterpiece "The Ireses". It has become my recent style to express my positive understanding of the fact that both laughter and tears, meetings and farewells are formed in base of our lives, and to praise it with cracked shining gold.
