禅と名付けたこの作品は、最も気に入っている作品のひとつです
。
金箔の縁の直線が中央に走り、意識的な表現を作り出しました。
水墨画の制作に集中していると、自分を忘れ、ここがどこなのかも忘れ、自分がだれなのかすらも忘れてしまいます。すべての有形、無形の生物が全員いる広大な場所のようなところにいて、「実相」を捉えることをゴールに目指しながら、また同時に「実相」の只中にいることをひしひしと感じながら、絵筆を進めます。
筆に含まれる水の重み、墨の動き、筆の毛のしなやかさと賢さ、自分の手指と、世界のすべてのものが、ひとつに融合しているといった心境の中で絵を描いています。
そのような時に表れている緊張感が、この作品のなかに形になって見えているように感じられます。私にとって特別な作品に違いありません。

This work, which I named Zen, is one of my favorite works.
The straight lines of the gold leaf's edge line run down the center, creating a conscious expression.
When I concentrate on creating an ink painting, I forget myself, where I am, and even who I am. I am in a vast place where all the tangible and intangible living things are, and while aiming to capture the ``reality,'' and at the same time keenly feeling that I am in the midst of the ``reality,'' I paint with a paintbrush.
I paint with the feeling that the weight of the water contained in the brush, the movement of the ink, the softness and cleverness of the bristles of the brush, my own hands and fingers, and everything in the world are fused into one!
I feel that the tension expressed at such times is reflected in this work. It must be a special work for me.
