夕方の空の色で、それが分かる。
変化し続けることの、壮大さ。変わりながら、煌めいている。
気づくと、もう真っ暗になっている。

この背景の金箔のようすは、尾形光琳作「杜若子花図屏風」に使用されていた用い方です。笑いと涙、出会いと別れの両方で成り立つことを肯定的に捉え、まばゆい金色で賛美したいという、最近の私の作風になりました。

It keeps changing every moment, you can tell that by the color of the evening sky.
The grandeur of the constant change. Things shine while changing it forms.
Before I knew it, the sky was already changed into dark.

The gold leaf used in the background is the method used in a great Rimpa artist Korin Ogata's masterpiece "The Ireses". It has become my recent style to express my positive understanding of the fact that both laughter and tears, meetings and farewells are formed in base of our lives, and to praise it with cracked shining gold.
