クラスでは、硯で墨をすってお稽古をしています。
墨をする時に得られる深い瞑想の時間が、現代の私達には必要です。

In class, we practice by rubbing ink with an inkstone. We need the time of deep meditation that we get when we make our own ink by our hands.

水墨画は禅仏教の教えを反映して発展しており、
特に古い画題からは、禅哲学の教えを読み解くことができます。

Ink painting developed reflecting the teachings of Zen Buddhism,
Especially from the old subjects, we can understand the teachings of Zen philosophy.
